To continue with our promise of helping players Reach New Levels we are extremely excited to announce our new partnership with Lights Out Fitness.

Lights Out Fitness are Professional and Licensed Trainers who specialize in Sports Fitness. They provide a high energy workout using High-Intensity Interval Training (HITT). Incorporating, Plyometrics, resistance training, strength and conditioning and, let’s not forget a motivated trainer.

They will be holding select Speed and Agility and Strength and Conditioning nights throughout the remainder of the season at our fields and their location.

You may be thinking but why do I need this?

Speed is one of the most crucial elements on the field! With specifically designed drills they are able to help players increase their acceleration, top line speed and overall performance on the field.

Agility has to do with how quickly a player can change directions without affecting balance.  It can also help with transitions, fakes, and positioning.

Footwork is a major component in increasing a players skill.

The feet absorb the shocks from the ground contact and propel the directional movement of the body at the right time. The main objective of having good footwork for an athlete is to allow them to get on the ball, into space or in the right place at the right time.

Strength and Conditioning is the underlying aspect that brings it all together. The average distance a player runs in a game is a staggering 7 miles, so the need to be conditioned is essential. Most people think that to become faster in soccer is doing more ladder work etc.. It actually starts with building strength and toning mussels.

To kick things off in a big way PLEASE JOIN US in our first ever Strength and Conditioning Bootcamp. This event is 100% FREE for STBFC players.

The Bootcamp will be a 4 day event on Thanksgiving Week.

  • Mon 11/23-  1:00 – 2:00pm – Explosion Power & Acceleration
  • Tues 11/24 – 1:00 – 2:00pm – Gladiator Conditioning 
  • Wed 11/25  -1:00 – 2:00pm – Core Crushing Strength
  • Fri    11/27 – 1:00 – 2:00pm – Fast Feet & Flexibility
